Great to extend the existing one that came with the unit.

I needed this to extend the length of the one that came with my unit as the window is much taller than the one supplied will handle. This worked great, but I wish it came with the set screws.

Do not buy, not necessary, make it yourself.

This is cheap and not worth the money. This item has only one hole opening and it was suggested for the air conditioner I ordered. The AC I ordered was dual exhaust and requires a piece with two holes. Plus, the Wynter floor model AC came with this piece. And, this piece did not fit in my window. My husband had to measure a piece of wood to fit my window, he then drilled out the holes himself. Save yourself the money and do not buy. Also do not buy the hose it comes with the AC unit.

Company policy is misleading

Product was ordered, not needed and returned, since the product it was intended to compliment was back ordered (from the same manufacturer) , despite Amazon listing it as "In Stock." Then when I returned it (as a result) they socked me with a 15% "restocking fee" plus the return shipping fee was at my expense. All this for a unneeded item ordered because the Amazon add was misleading. Mark me dissatisfied.
